Why Japanese?

Why am I studying Japanese? Well, I guess I'm the only member of my family who cannot speak or understand Japanese. My older brother went to university in Japan, and now lives and works in Tokyo. My little brother started taking Japanese in high school because he wanted to understand what the characters in his favorite animes are saying. My aunt, uncle and cousins live in Osaka, and of course, they speak Japanese too!

I'd ideally want to be able to get around in Japan without the aid of other family members whenever I visit. (I'd also like to watch anime (宮崎 駿, 名探偵コナン!) without always having to read the subtitles...) I love Japanese culture, and of course, the food, and I'd like to spend a couple years in Japan someday.

For now, I'll just have to turn to Youtube for my dose of Japanese culture!

えいごとちゅうごくごがよくわかります。フランスごがだいたいわかります。にほんごがあまりわかりません。にほんごはむずかしいですが、おもしろいです！

わたしはりょうりがすきです。にほんりょうりとイタリアりょうりがとてもすきです！
